Hello I am Bryant Anokam, a math tutor with a B.S. in Electrical Engineer and over 5 years of math tutoring experience. I have effectively worked with students of many different levels in private
one-on-one and group sessions and also in classroom settings. As a tutor, I pride myself on being a passionate instructor, patient and adaptive to the students’ needs, pacing myself thoroughly, breaking down complex problems and ideas with detailed step-by-step instruction, and giving constructive feedback to improve students analysis and solving skills.

I believe that every student has unlimited potential. My aim is to bring out each student’s full potential by giving them all the skills and knowledge that's needed to succeed. I want to instill students with the confidence and proficiency in math wherein it becomes easy and enjoyable to do. I truly enjoy giving back to my community with my knowledge of math. Knowing that I have made an impact in someone’s life and have undeniably changed their future for the better is all the joy that brings me back to tutoring. Tutoring isn’t a job for me but a passion I love.

    • HOURS OF SERVICE
    In-person tutoring: M-TH 10am-6pm / Fr 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm
    * These times are subject to change. Please contact me for further information on my availability.

    HOURLY RATE
    ∎ 1-on-1 tutoring: $40/hr
    ∎ 2-on-1 tutoring: $20-per person/hr
    ∎ Group tutoring (3 to 4 people): $15-per person/hr

    PAYMENT OPTIONS
    background

    * A 50% minimum payment must be made before any session begins.

    SERVICING AREA / TRAVEL POLICY
    I am based in the Glenn Dale, MD area and service the local 11-mile radius.
    Note: A minimum 2 hours of tutoring is required when servicing beyond 5 miles of the local area.

    MEETING AREA
    Our lessons will be conducted in public areas such as the library. Any service done at any other location will be done at the discretion of the tutor.

    CANCELLATION POLICY
    An advance of 48 hours is needed for any session cancellation or for any rescheduling of time. A cancellation penalty will be applied for lessons that get canceled, skipped or rescheduled without a certain amount of advanced notice. Please communicate any schedule changes to me as soon as possible. For any cancellation communicated less than 48 hours before a session then an extra fee of $10 will be applied for the next session.
